Was a pretty good airplane day today.
 Got to meet Joe Dill for the first time. Wonderful gentleman. I was invited to his home to meet with he and Paul, to look over some planes, projects and kits that Mr Dill wants to part with, and just talk airplanes a little.
I ended up buying a very pretty flapped Ringmaster Imperial with an OS 40 up front. De-gum the engine, a small touch up to the finish, and it's ready for flying weather. Looking forward to it!!

Everybody has a stash of planes and equipment that is going to outlast them. Personally, I want them to be used for their intended purpose, not thrown into the trash because no one knows what they are, or cares. Best to pass them on to someone who will use them to their advantage and enjoyment. That is what just happened!
