Graphics?
« on: September 05, 2006, 09:21:58 PM »
Hello,

I tried a related question over in "Building Techniques" several days ago and didn't get much response.  Perhaps if I reword my query and try it here, I'll have better luck.

What process is used to achieve the great looking graphics that I see on many planes?  Particularly letters and numbers.  Are decals used then clear coat applied over them?  If so, what's the source for the decals?  Other methods/techniques used?  I'm in the dark and would like to finish off my ARC Vector with something nice.

Hopefully, someone can help me out.

Thanks,

Joe

I go to the local sign shop and have them cut stencils and I paint them on.

go get offcuts of graphics vinyl from a signwriter shop...cut what shapes you need......apply...
