Got to hang out with Mike and Don today.
« on: January 09, 2018, 09:00:20 PM »
Mike Waldron invited me down to his place to fly. Don Ogron <sp?> showed up as well. Mike has a nice place lots of land and horses. Behind his house is his circle. What a setup!
Mike and Don both fly very well. And very quite compared to my .46 thumper.
Thanks Mike for a great afternoon. I sure needed it.

Looking at these photos makes feel better about not being able to fly.  Right now every thing is covered in ice with below freezing temps.  Just a couple of months and it should start getting nice enough to fly with the exception of the wind we usually get when the temps are good.  Glad you guys could get together. It is a little warmer toward the equator but not gonna lie- Florida did participate in winter. It got down in the mid 30s at night last week. It was brutal. I think a few cooler days next week too. But I can take it better than the ice and cold temps we get in the mid south. ^-^

It is windy here during the day but by 3:00pm it is flyable.
