Got the NATS report in again.
« on: October 09, 2014, 06:14:28 PM »
Hello Gentlemen and Ladies.
I don't post here a lot. Enjoy reading all the topics and have learned massive info to help with my flying. Am almost ready to try the Beginner pattern, except enjoy Judging the most.
Anyway, please refer to Oct Model Aviation, page 149, for my report of the Nats. This is the 2nd year that I got it into the magazine and would appreciate hearing that it was at least read by somebody.
I love C/L and working for you.

Yes, Dave, saw that.  Thanks for submitting the report and photos.  It's nice to see some CL appearing in the Quadcopter magazine.

Dave,

I am glad to see CL in the Disctrict columns, several months ago, the CL speed contest results were printed in the District 6 column that Randy Cameron writes. I took the pictures and sent Randy the results from our speed contest here in St Louis and it got printed. I even sent Randy and our local Associate Vice President (Bob Underwood) an invitation to our CL contest this past Sept.

Everyone who writes a column in the magazine wants people to send material to them. As the CL scale columnist I get very few submissions for the column so I am pulling material that I get from attending local contests and the Nationals. One notable exception was Joe Eiben, he sent me some pictures of his AT-6 model and it was published in the Oct issue.

If you have a good set of pictures, news, contest results send them to someone who writes a column in the magazine.

The Nats coverage in the District V report in the Oct issue was great, let's see more of this!

Fred's comments show the basis of why not much C/L  stuff is in MA - no one sends stuff in.  'Nuff said.
