I would check with Walter U. by email and confirm that there was a video included. Then, you could ask your kit source if they have it laying about, and also see if WU might be able to provide a copy. Finally, IIRC, Brodak made/makes a short kit of the Cobra, taken over production from Walter, so Brodak might be a source for the video, but Walter can probably give an answer on that.
There have been some of those kits built, so it's also possible that one of those builders would be a source. We've had three Cobras in recent history here in the NW, and I believe two were built from WU kits. Beware of the control system...I believe all three were very much too quick in ratio, and a lot of elevator for little flap deflection. At least some of them required control system surgery to make them fly in a satisfactory fashion. You really don't want to suffer through that. D>K Steve

Steve,
I will keep all that in mind. I also have the luxory of having Bill Little close to me and I know he is an adept builder. I am only surmising that there was a video included at one time as that is what the paperwork in the kit said. If I can't find a copy of the video it won't be the end of the world.

Probably go on line at builtrightflyright and down load the build photos.

There was a VHS tape with the kit. Mine is still there. The kit really doesn't need the tape to build but you can get the vidio on building an I beam wing from Bob Hunt that will cover just about everything you need on building the wing.

Hi Pat!
Great find! Walter does great kits. As a matter of fact, I have a video by Bill Werwage (king of I-Beamers) on building an I-Beam if you want to borrow it. Aaron built his first I-Beam by setting down and rewinding , etc., etc., this video until his Ares was built.
The shop is OPEN!

Bill,
I have to finish the Magnum, but I hope to visit you again soon before going to Lousianna for a month at the end of this month. And yes, I would very much like to borrow that VHS tape.

Pat, Remember, the Baton Rouge contest is Oct 20-21. BTW, the last e mail I sent didn't go through.

Each and every Cobra kit that was made included a video that was purchased from Bob Hunt.
I did not make copies of his tapes to include with the kit, B. Hunt made me one for each
kit and to be clear they were not "Wooley" Cobra specific.
They were included as a tool to assist builders with I-Beam construction. I thoproughly enjoyed watching mine several times and they truly helped me during construction of other I-Beamers built after the Cobra was kitted.
They are very high quality and I would out of respect for Bob Hunt and his efforts suggest buying a new replacement video; you will not regret getting one.

HI Pat
I will ask the person who owned the kit, and whom I sold it for, if he has the video, If I can get it I will send it to you

When I get to the Cobra, if I can't screw up the courage to dive in with Bill's help, I will contact Bob Hunt, and grab a copy of his video.

Randy,
No stress about it here. I figured that you had not recieved the video. I have several options available to me. Thanks for thinking of it though!

Hi Pat,
The video we have IS the Bob Hunt video. But the video is about Bill Werwage and his building an I-Beamer. It is the one Walter included in the kit.

Bill, this probably means I will be dragging my kit over to your place Saturday so you can look it and get my I-Beam education started in the right direction! ;D

I built one. The thing practically fell together.

Remember. as Billy says in the video, the first thing is to build the fuselage, trailing edge, leading edge and spar. I watched my video from Bobby several times before I taking on the Detroiter I did a lousy job on. Still have the flap that Rollie autographed for me at VSC. He is still missed.
