The usual white aliphatic glue ( Blue label Gorilla brand) for my liking is a bit runny, slightly flexi when dry, hard to sand and takes a while to go off. But cheap and effective overall. The red bottle premium grade Gorilla glue cures hard, and expands to fill the gaps. Epoxy is very strong but hard to sand, messy ,expensive and takes yonks to cure. ( I'm not a raving fan of 5 min epoxy) So me thinks - WHAT if I mix 1/3 rd red with 2/3 rds blue. It worked a treat! I now have a strong sticky glue that cures quickly ( Tacky in half an hour) expands slightly, strong as hell and sands well - more easily than epoxy. And of course very cost effective. A mate said - "It might burst into flames.", another, "It'll get brittle and let go up high!" Another shrugged his shoulders and said his wife said - "Like you, it would never work in the kitchen!"
