Hope this was not his best flight even tho it is good.   Watching this and Bene flights back to back you can see the differences.  Thanks for the great videos.

Hi John, I´m not sure, but I think it´s not Rogério Alves best flight, but I will check it!

Both are flying the same kind of models, Yastsenkos (Bene "old" Shark, and Rogério Ellipse).

Thanks!

After being a judge for several contests, it is good to see a video of some flights back to back.  Because in actual time of judging, by the end of the day I could not tell you who the best pilot was.   There are so many things during the flight that is different from one pilot to the next.  If all judges scored the same it would be a boring contest.   I am not afraid to down grade a maneuver that is bad.  But, when I see a wing over that looks like a great big loop it gets dinged by me in old time.  Or overhead 8's that the intersection is at about 70 degrees and still gets a score like the almost perfect loops a person does.  I think some call it the halo effect.  I've seen a few of the top notch guys after a not so good maneuver look at their score sheet and wonder out loud, what are the judges looking at.  But it looks like your judges did their job good.   Also do you have a separate timer for each flight.  I noticed the person with the red flag, or is that required in F2B?.

Doc

That's the stopwatch judge.
One has one minute to be airborne once you call "time", and 7 to be landed...
