It was a difficult summer for flying, wrecking my B-40 powered Magician and a malfunctioning modified Sig Akromaster. Today I flew the repaired Magician. It was fine except for the fuel filter getting clogged. Doing eights again. Didn't do any vertical eights yet. That's my limit so far except for
some attempted triangles and our glasses.
Well, I flew the Magician three times. It was great to be in the air again. Almost no wind, 45 degrees or so. Colder weather is coming her in south central Pennsylvania.

I forgot to add that I accidentally stuck my right thumb and index finger into the propeller or a running S.T. 51 five weeks ago and I am slowly recovering. Took the flesh off the tips. Both should heal fine, after another two months or so. That's hard for us piano players.

Ouch!
Welcome back.

Hey, you have to be alert with fingers and hands. I have scars to prove I wasn't too alert at times. Glad you are getting some flying in. Here if it isn't Church it is the wind, rain or as of today Rain and cold. Temps in the 30's.

Yeah, the prop... Got 20 stitches on my right hand, for not being careful enough...
Good thing is fingers heal...

Yes, it's wonderful how the body heals itself. It just takes time, but I'm five weeks in and improving noticeably every week now.
