Going Home
« on: September 04, 2012, 10:44:26 AM »
Thanks to many on these forums, and in no small way, due to youp help and prayers, I'm going home. it's been 6 months since I was injured.

The straffs of the various hospitals and care units, have done all they can. Now it's time to go home, where I'll be working on my injuies, as an out patient.

I've been staying abreast of the CL news, via these forums during these past months. I've enjoyed reading the exploits of the members. You've all helped me with making the passage of time more bearable. H^^

4 more days, but 'who's counting I am developing a slight case of "jitters", I still have a lot of work to do on my hands. They were badly burned in the accident. I hope I can function good enough at home. Still, I am looking forward to getting back to work on the Bipe, and other projects.

Thanks for your well wishes.  John  H^^

HI John,

Like I said elsewhere, if I could I would get over to your place and give you a "Welcome Home" party!  But, since I cannot, I wish you all the best!  You will continue to be in my prayers.

We have certainly missed having you around on a regular basis so having you home will help us all feel better!

Outstanding John -

I wish you the best for a full and complete recovery.

I flew the JB Special last weekend; I think of you whenever I get to fly it.  I plan to bring it to the GSSC.  it always gets kudos on its 30's look; I credit you for that and give you credit for the cool design.

Cheers,
Jim Hoffman

Thanks for all the good wishes. I got home Saturday. I've been very busy trying to get my place cleaned up and orderly. I'm taking it one area at a time. I'm rapidly findingm out my strong points and limitations.

I have hopes of being back and doing the CAD work in a week or so. I've a bunch of work to do updating my web site, and ofcourse The New wings for the Bipe.

Once again, your notes of encouragement, support, and well wishes, truley helped me through the last 6 months. Thanks H^^
