Yes, I'm still in hospital, looking at some more surgery around 1st of year, then
probably some more time here. ;-O

However, I'm doing what is necessary as I see it. What I'm dealing with is osteomyletis,
and Charcot foot, latter of which will necessitate some more surgery and a fixator for
a couple of months while it heals.
I've been crying about not being able to read my home email or figure out how,
and I've been needing some specific files from home for this laptop.
Finally I found a pretty good solution - Go To My PC, which provides me virtual
control of the home PC from here. It works pretty well, I can see and do everything
from here, on the desktop of that PC. Even sounds come through..
File transfer is as easy as drag and drop from the home screen to this laptop screen,
although it is a bit slow for very large files.
Still, it works remarkably well, is secure and simple, and costs $9.95 a month, which I
feel is well worth it. I had 131 emails accumulated over there and just cleaned them up
remotely.
So, I'm happy and recommend this program for easy remote access to your computer.
