Fuel syringe ?
« on: April 09, 2010, 07:47:32 PM »
Somewhere I saw that there was a fuel syringe that used "O" rings for durability. Anyone know where. The ones on the Brodak site look like common medical syringes.

I use the Carl Shoup versions, too. The regular veterinary syringes are generally OK, but Carl and Jim Lee both make new stoppers that are less prone to disintegrating over time. The stock black rubber part is really not up to the task of taking methanol for years. It's OK for a year or so.

The red silicone o-ring is the one you want to use. I have been using mine for about 5 years now and it looks brand new.
