It could be that Mecca bought out all the existing tooling and parts inventory.
 Time will tell..

Chatting about it on facebook and that is what it appears to be, Mecoa bought all the tooling, I sent them an e-mail about a time line and if the 35 will be part of the production. Fingers  crossed.   y1 #^

Knowing MECOA, please do not hold ones breath too long......................

They could have very well purchased all the tooling/dies and such, BUT, please look at the manufacturing record
for other motors and parts that they produce and "carry" parts for.

That is why I say please do not hold your breath too long..............

They do pretty good as far as parts for old sparkers that they own. I have purchased Anderson Spitfire Rods and timer and intakes for Forster 29 rear valve ignition engines. I usually check to see what they have in stock on there parts list. As far as complete engines I think they make a run of them, and then do something else.

MECOA buying the tooling is several steps above the equipment sitting in a warehouse in Ft Smith AR.

Hello Yes great news for all of us that use Fox engines. Mecoa have been easy to deal with and pretty quick and I am in New Zealand. I currently have a lot of Fox engines on models including Hawk and 2 Eagle (Mk1's) on Stunt models as well as a couple of 40's and 35's together with a 29 and 15 so reading this is a relief. I tried contacting Fox with no luck :-[ but did read that Mecoa had brought up the Fox stock , hopefully they will have the parts up for sale soon and even new motors! :)

Prior to the demise of Fox engines, they had very little parts in stock. I made several inquiries in regards to needle valves and was told they had nothing. No piston sleeves for any of the engines I requested.  One individual who worked at Fox stopped in just to say hello and commented on here how there was little to nothing in the parts bins. What was left to sell?  While all this sounds good, there was obviously a reason why things flourished in the first place. I'm sitting on the bench with this one.

           Copied right from the site

This will more than likely what you will see

PLEASE DON'T CALL
for information, prices or try to order any of these engines.
We will notify everyone when they become available.
We won't help you with any questions concerning these engines.
We need the time to build them right now, not talk about them!

Several years ago I was in need of a crankshaft for a MK 7 Combat Special. Fox told me they had none in stock. When I mentioned this to the late Marvin Denny, he called them and asked them to look in a certain area of the warehouse. Presto...in a few days I had a brand new one, and they only charged $25.
