Glo Plugs

tell me what i have. I have been gifted more glo plugs than ever be used.Please tell me which ones are good for stunt
 first is about 75  Aldrich Magnums.60 McCoy MC 59sand 40 MC 55s. 50 glo devel std, 100 K&B 1Ls, 50 short reach.50 K&B 1L on an orange card 25 Fire Ball std,60 McCoy #40-5s.6 Testers 7127 (40-1)s.
 do i have a gold mine or what, which are best  RAD

The Aldrich Magnums and the K&B1L's are no good . If you send them all to me , I may be able to cover the postage .

The 1L you find mentioned in many a thing . Maybe in the ST 46 Era . So maybe a good 4-2 plug ? . Baffle Engines . more delecate .

The Aldrich being later , might be a schneurle plug . IF there is such a thing . Heavier Duty for the go hard or go home brigade .

The FIREBALL , turkeys manadged to wreck the CERAMIC insulator . Levering on it willo do that . Glow Connector or fitting the plug wire clip , on a B T/R .
What the hot tip was , was ARYLDITE & a Toothpick . You can guess the rest . But justin case - New or solvent cleaned , or both , a bead / fillet or High Temp. epoxy
( dunno if JB welds conductive . Wouldnt light if was ) Twixt post & body . So as to relive the porclain ? insulator of that task .
Uvawise , see ya dont go wrenching round on that little post their , old boy . Blue were the top B T/R plug , other than he pommy Taylor bespoke plugs .

     I seem to remember reading about the Aldrich plugs , but don't remember specifics. The K&B plugs should be good, along with the Glow Devil std for at least sport flying. The McCoy plugs would be from the R/C car activities and I used to know what the numbers meant, but I think they are still around to research them, but they were reputed to be good plugs. Didn't McCoy make plugs for other companies also?? The Fireballs would be hit and miss. The Testors plugs, are those the gold looking plugs? They look cool if nothing else! Good plug to put in a display engine  or an engine in a hanger queen model. Examine the coil for size and the hole that it's in on any of them. A big coil and a larger diameter hole would indicate a hotter plug I would think. Test run on a bench test engine to know for sure.

the McCoy plugs are good plugs.
The 55 is for low nitro (zero to 10%)
the 59 is for low to medium nitro (up to about 15 possibly 20% nitro)

I agree with Carl on the McCoy plugs--they work fine. We run the MC-59's all the time in the K&B Series 71 .40's for Quickie Rat. Fuel there is 10N/20 oil. They work fine in all the sport/stunt engines I've tried them in, too. Enjoy your stash!
