NEWS FLASH! STUNT MODEL SLOW COMBAT EVENT IN PLANNING STAGES!

HEY STUNT ADDICTS...
Let's just KICK AROUND A BRAND NEW EVENT! "VINTAGE STUNT SLOW COMBAT!"
I am more than certain that many of us, (especially older vintage stunt modelers with slow reflexes, slow minds, dulled by years of abusing our brains with toxic laq.fumes) have some old beloved models hanging on our outhouse walls...just gathering dust and spiderwebs?

Like Bob Parker and I and a few of my old stunt model addicts...of old, used to take our old worn-airworn stunt models, tie streamers onto to their decomposing old hulks...fire up those tired old Fox-Johnson-Forster-Veco-K&B-Merco-engines and let them die a beautiful and worthy or worthless "DUELING TO THE DEATH!-DIE IN GLORY-GOREY EVENT CALLED
SLOW STUNTMODEL COMBAT!
Although rules are made to be broken.....What say we consider at least a loose required list of rules such as:
Help me with this if you are a sic' as I am...who would dare to risk putting and end to such great old models that served us so faithfully and long.
However...why just let them rot hanging there? Wouldn't going out of this world in a BIG MID AIR BANG..WITH TICKER-TAPE LOOKING PIECES FALLING OUT OF THE SKY be a better tribute than just wasting away into a pile of crap for the garbage man on Mondays?

Possible rule one:
1.That model would have had to been flown at least once in a sanctioned AMA stunt event...
2.The model should be a fulled flapped stunter...and if possible....be apx in both sq. inches and equally powered engine displacment sizes.... say .19 to 29    .35 to .50 and then from .51 to .60?
3. The models should be affixed with a streamer of a required length.
4. Although the idea of the event...is not just to get the streamer...but also go after the tail assembly and even a head on kill is encouraged...(the winner who performed the kill....has to complete his engine run or at least land in one piece to continue to the next round.

In other words...A DEMOLITION AIRDERBY TO THE DEATH!....THE WINNER TAKE ALL!!! THE LOSERS????Well!!
We should have a burial plot somewhere in some location...marked with funeral markers...depicting the models past glory and flight history. Each year a new event will be peformed in honor of those models lost and again for the new ones to be added.

PRETTY SICK IDEA HUH? AMAZING WHAT McDONDALDS NEW $2.17 ICED LATE'JAVA INDUCED HIGH CAN DO TO OLD STUNTGRUNTS THOUGHT PROCESSES?

HEY GANG! ANY ONE WEIRD, MEAN SPIRITED OR JUST PLAIN SICK  ENOUGH TO HELP ME THICKIN THE POT-PLOT FOR SUCH AN EVENT?
Old stunt models never die...they just lose their tail-feathers...n'allthatjazz.

Sounds like a great event!
But since i havent been doing this all that long i dont have any real old models hanging around, soooooo
what say you loan me one of yours for the inaugural event. I promise to return anything thats left afterwards.
and just so you know i did fly combat at one time, so i promise to be real aggressive with your model.

It is going to be flown over concrete right? these are stunt models after all.

  i've never flown in competition,but some of my planes are ragged.i think us "newbies"should get a 'HANDICAP".lets say if you have ever placed(5th or better) in a meet you have to fly the first 90 seconds(including launch) BLINDFOLDED. I think that would guarantee some CARNAGE(not to mention get us home early for supper).

I think granderson and rush to name just a few might have a distinct advantage!
but getting them to fly there own airplanes in this event might be tough.
maybe adding builder of the model rule would be a benefit for the rest of us?
and appearance points judged after the event to help level out the field.
possidle bonus points for the most pieces, worst engine damage(over concrete =extra points),
double bonus point for wrecking a former Nat's or world champs winning plane.
