Bi-slob questions

I am ready to put the first flights on my Bi-slob.  It appears that most folks are using .015 X 52' lines.  Is that correct?  Also, I am using a Fox 35 on it.  What prop would you recommend?

Edit:  OK, I put the first two flights on it this morning and I am addicted.  The air was dead calm, but I had a ball.  Had it hovering on the first flight and laughed my butt off all the way through both flights.

Why didn't I do this years ago?

Thanks for all the suggestions guys.  I haven't tried the 10-5 APC yet, but I will next time out.

Edit:  OK, I finally got my hands on a couple of APC 10-5's and tried one on the Slob this morning.  Made a big difference.  Hovers much easier now and even tail slides.  I'm loving the Slob!!

Hi Bill,
We fly on 50's or 52's, wind depending.
Have not flown mine in awhile, just checked it - it has a 10x5 on it now and I know I have used 10x6's.
You will enjoy it, great change of pace.

I fly mine on .012 x 58'.  OS  25FP  with 10-4 or 9-5 props.
I flew my buddies Slob yesterday,  .015 x 58' with LA25  and same props. 
Both combos work great,  the .012 lines have a little better feel. 
You are fixing to have some fun.

Good Lord willing and the creek don't rise, the plan is to be at Brodaks 2009. We have our room booked. I thought about packing my bags, but that might be a little over the top. Want to join me and Ryan in Junkyard wars? Be part of Team Rootbeard?

the best prop I have ever run on my slobs has been a 10 x 6 3 blade Grish Nylon - it takes a beating on those "brick glide" landings that happen when you are having so much fun you forget about fuel load..........
