We are very bussy here in the last half of December with 3 projects; The "Black Squadron" begins January 1st, The Electric control line trainer, "EZ 1" for early January, and the "Giant Stunt Master" due for release on or about January 1st. The Giant Stunt Master is all laser cut and is on the way to us now. The kit will include a one piece fuselage (Scientific made thiers in several pieces) a two piece build-up wing (a one piece wing means a 45" long box for the LE and TE that would cost a lot to ship and be easy to damage). We are writing the directions now and doing up the full size plans.

When are you gonna do the Giant Kingpin?

Funny that you should ask. I wanted the Giant Kingpin first but I was out voted when we recieved several letters telling that the Giant Stunt Master was a better choise. I like the Giant Kingpin design better, I think that it looks nicer. Early next year the large scale Fokker D-7 will be ready and I believe we will start work on the Giant Kingpin right after that. The only challenge to that would be the "Stunt Rocket" it has been on the desk for sometime and Walt wants us to do it. All I can promiss is that it is on the way.

I have one I built from plans and haved used both a McCoy 35 RH and a Veco 35 Stunt.  This is the best flying profile of that style I have ever flown.  Turns rigns around a Ringmaster or Tomahawk!

THE FIRST RUN OF 50 LASER KITS ARRIVED, NOW TO GET THE LE, TE, AND SPARS HERE FROM LOAN STAR BALSA. I GUESS THAT I NEED TO WORK ON THE PLANS TOO.

I started (and finished) a GSM project about two years ago.  Back in the day, I passed on the thing, because they were about $3.95 or $4.95 and you could get a double VooDoo or Combat Cat for the same money.  Upon enbarking on the project, I found that the (required) VooDoo-style leading edge goes for the same money and typically weighs 3-to-5 ounces. I Dremmeled out a few tenths from the back of the LE before assembly.

Anyway, I was able to borrow a prototype from Currell's extenive stash and create a nice copy.

This is certainly classic-legal and also maybe OTS.  The 40" Stuntmaster was listed on John Miske's GSCB holy writ of OTL designs.

It's been a very successfully sport plane, racer, engine tester, and Classic Stunter for me.  Walt Musciano autographed it for me at Kalamazoo.
