Looks good Doc.
I've got to admit the P-47 is the one I'm waiting to see though.

Finally the ISW is ready for test flights. The Fox .35 has been test run on the bench. I borrowed the paint scheme from one of our brothers on this sight. Weight as you see in the pictures: 1 lb 13.2 oz. Yes I build heavy.

The yellow is poly ester fabric from cloth world. The blue is Brodak Blue. The graphics is cut from monokote.

Nice Veco Chief there, Doc! Ok, I'm kidding. I say that about every plane that's blue & yellow with pre-WWII roundels. The 29.2 oz should be perfectly fine. I am also more interested in the P-47.

That is a beauty Doc; I have always liked that plane and yours is done right. I bet she will fly fine with that hot Fox you got there.

Yes, I need to get back to the P-47. In my zeal to do the planking I left out the tail skid. A little work with the X-Acto and some thinking, which is hard for me, the tail skid is in place. Need to get the blocks all glued up for the nose cowl and start sanding.

GREAT job on the ISW Doc. It will look real fine riding in your sailboat in Gig Harbor...!

One of the newer ones with six bolts. If you look close you will see muffler ears filled in with J-B Weld. Need to find a tongue muffler that fits maybe.

Well she flies. A little touchy on the controls, but I think a tongue muffler and narrower line spacing will help that. Did some loops and inverted laps. Almost got a landing without a bounce. Had to take a break from the Ringmaster thingy. Did get some practice on the Ringmaster of the old time pattern. Tomorrow will be back in Topeka doing the Ringmasters again. By the way the head I got from Eric Rule years ago with the plug pointing to the rear of the engine. Remember this is the Walter Umland kit and it has been a while since I had one fly with wing level up right and inverted. Just need to get out fly more often. Probably look funny doing high steps in the middle of the circle.

Ahh, yes, the old first flight two-step. Congrats on the ship, Doc. A few trim flights and then on to the next one! Nice job.
