Here is some video of George Brodak flying funscale at the recent Brodak Flyin. George is flying the same plane that his brother John flew when he won first place at the nationals last year.

Sam,
Could you give a few more details about the plane/engine George is flying?
Thanks for the great clip!

The plane is the Miles M2 Hawk Speed 6. I believe the engine is a Saito 51.

Thanks, Sam. It sure sounds good with the 4 stroke. y1

Hi, Guys - the engine is a SAITO .40 that I set up for George.
Just a few minor mods.
Running an 11-5 APC, it flew the plane effortlessly.
Electric speed control, through the lines.

The electric speed control through the lines is controlled by a Single Channel U/Tronics Control unit.
They are advertised on this forum in the "Vendors Corner".
John Brodak is the second NATS Fun Scale winner to fly U/Tronics. Ron Peterson won Fun Scale in 2005 also using a Single Channel U/Tronics Control unit.
