Might want to do a little research here and ask around the forum for help.  Curezone.com  Good luck, get well.

I'm in Hollywood Florida and waiting for this Irma Hurricane nightmare to be over and done with. Stay safe

Well do what ever it takes to keep going.  I have had prostate check and taking pills for bladder control.  Still where a pad as some times it just doesn't wait.   So I feel for those that have to be around me as I know the odor is not too good even changing pads often.   Also don't let that hurricane take you out. A friend/co-worker was diagnosed and went with the seed implants.  About ten as I recall.  Worked good for him and has not returned.

Two big stressors in one week is a lot to handle.  Stay strong!

God bless you Rusty.  Before I retired, the average age of my work group (70 old farts) was 65 and many had endured prostate cancer, heart attacks, and we lost one to Alzheimer's. ALL of the prostate guys came through it, only 2 had radical surgery and the rest had the implants.  2-3 had similar experience as you are having, with bad or negligent diagnoses, but they made it fine.  Write letters to anyone you can find that will jump on the VA.  My son was in a bad motorcycle accident 2 years ago and the VA would not help because he was on a long list.  I called my Congressman, who was a Veterans advocate, and he helped but the bureaucracy was still pitiful.
I'll pray for you Brother, keep the faith,
Steve

I had mine out 17 years ago, I was 40. If you want to talk I will give you my phone number. It will be ok, and it is not as bad as your thinking now. Don't know how old your are but I would have it taken out. Everything works with me, just have to get up at night about every 4 hours, makes for a good alarm clock. Steve

Before giving the OK for any sort of radioactive implant. Grill the doctors about long term damage that can be caused by the radiation. My wife had a radioactive implant for uterine cancer and it screwed up her insides big time. In hind sight she would not have consented to having that radioactive pill put up you know where ever. They really do not openly tell you the damage that can be done, often time worse than the cancer they are attempting to treat. Not saying you should'nt do it, but really interrogate the guys wishing to do this treatment.
