FW 190
« on: August 19, 2006, 11:26:15 AM »
Hi,  I thought a while back, Al Raab was helping someone with a FW 190.  I remember seeing pictures of construction on this model,  but never saw or heard of a end product.  Does anyone know anything about this one?  Looking forward to hearing from folks on this one.  Thanks, Mike Boucher :)

Hi Mike, Yep that was me. I have left it for the time being as I was redesigning the fuse outline and I wanted a longer tail. The wing is framed up waiting on the new laser cut formers. I have also since designed the exhaust system and changed to a larger engine(76) for bigger props which will let me fly slower. Stay tuned I hope to get it back in the works this winter.

Having seen a picture of the plans for Maverick's FW on the wall in his shop, I think he is going to need a MUCH bigger one, Bill.

For all: the canopys that Bill makes are first class.

Hey Bill, Yes I would like a canopy, even if it is not the right size. I have a smaller version in mind in the future also. Give info to order one please.
Thanks,

The canopy is 10 1/2 inches long. I used some auto primer to show the details in the photos. The cost on these is $ 9.00 shipped to USA.
