Title: Future Nats Champion
Post by: Chris_Rud on August 21, 2014, 02:56:59 PM
Hi All! My wife Kayla and I had our first baby on Monday. Emma Rud.

I thought you would all like her first toy. Figured I would get her familiar with the smell of balsa early.

Congratulations to you and yours!! As the father of 7 (some adopted, some not, i forget which sometimes) and the grandfather  of at least 17,with more arriving daily(some adopted, some not) let me be the first to tell you to enjoy the ride!!! It has hills,valleys, curves and storms along with a lot of sunshine. Do the dance classes, little league, Sunday School, PTA and anything else she comes up with.  My kids used to tell me i embarassed them at ball games yelling and clapping for our team.  Now they tell me that they always knew i would be there.  In a lifetime full of mistakes and blundering at times, seems like that( being there) is what they remember.

  Hey Chris;
    I can't believe you or Sean are old enough to have kids. The last time I think I saw you was bumping into you at the Papa Johns pizza shop in Oshkosh several years ago. Life will really change for you now and be  much more interesting! Hope Mom and baby are doing well, and conratualtions all around.
   Type at you later,
   Dan "granpa" McEntee

Congratulations Chris, enjoy it.  You'll blink and she'll be heading in to her first day of Jr. High.  Like Ty said, hug them a lot.

Congratulations Chris!  Having two grown daughters and now three grandchildren I can say you'll soon understand a whole new reason for living and source of pure joy has arrived at your house.  About the handle... Good luck with that.  Maybe you should have carved a cell phone.  I'm working on the second generation of potential fliers since I gave up on the first.  Hope you better luck with that!

Chris,
Congratulations on the New Stunt Pilot.

Better start building an airplane for her.  They grow up so fast it'll seem like you're always running behind schedule!

All the best to you and you Family Beginnings, from a many times Dad and a many times Grandpa!
