Title: Fun Flying New Years Day in Dallas Texas
Post by: Jerry Leuty on December 30, 2010, 08:05:37 PM
If you live within driving distance of Hobby Park in far eastern Dallas county come on out for a good old fun fly, hanger trash talk, and probably some warm sandwiches. The DMAA will hold it's annual Fridgit Didgit fun fly. It is suppose to be up around 50 degrees and no wind so far is planned. There will be another fun fly in Feb. in place of the Presidents Day contest. The park is located on I 635 just outside of Garland, Texas.

OMG, I can't believe you would find those conditions flyable! ;D

Just up the road the Piston Poppers will be enjoying a nice New Years' afternoon of flying in Minneapolis too. The forecast is something like 10 degrees with a light 18-20mph breeze and snow possibly mixed with rain. n~
