Title: Fun Fly, Springfield MO

We are planning to try again to have a fun fly come May in Springfield, MO (last year the circle was under water until July).  Want to get a feel for how many would be interested in coming.  We have one asphalt circle and will try and get the parks department to mow a second circle.  We're hoping to make it a weekend when Allen Brickhaus can come and conduct a stunt clinic as well.

Any ideas of when? Early summer? Late summer? etc???

As far as I know I can be there.  Terry Bolin, Ken Nash and I went by the park to look at the circle.  Really nice.  See ya all in May.

May not make the Topeka meet this year.  Its on the same day as the family reunion in Oklahoma.  I'll be there for the next one though.

Hi, James;

Being that you're as close to the edge of your AMA District as you are, you will need to look into District 8 and also the SE corner of District 9 for conflict. FYI, we have a stunt contest in Texarkana scheduled for the first weekend in May, sanction will be waiting for me to forward to AMA when I get home from VSC/CabinFever next week.

Memorial Day Weekend is the Topeka contest.

St Louis is the weekend before if I remember.

Will probably not go to the Iowa contest in the first part of the month.
