Post by: Leo Mehl on March 28, 2009, 05:45:46 PM
April 5th is date of the fun fly in McMinneville oregon. It seems that they always have good weather for this and it is one of the premier flying fields in the northwest.I am hoping that there will be a lot of people there this year as it has been a long winter. Ya All Come! HB~> HB~> HB~> HB~>

Leo, Ginny and I will be there. If we can figure out how to get it into the back seat of the PT we will be bringing the P-38.  If not, then perhaps a carrier plane and OTS model.

Pretty good timing.  There's a contest in Portland: http://flyinglines.org/Action.html .  You will enjoy the McMinnville site, too.  I hope you can bring something to fly.

dSo you guys sent all the weather our way so you can have a good weekend.  I set in the shop yesterday(Sat) trying to catch up on everything.  With all the snow only about 2 inches on the drive.  The steps in front of the shop I shoveled off three times.  Today bright sunshine and snow disappearing fast.  Too muddy to fly.  Have fun guys/gals.  DOC Holliday

WE are always glad to send as much snow your way as we can. I know you would like to thank us for it but that's not necessary. I will be flying new Rebel and mybe new grinder too. HB~> HB~>

I will be going at least to watch. I might fly some 1/2A if I feel real brave. The nice part is that it is all of 3 minutes from my home. ;D
