Title: FUN FLY at Palmetto

Through my club, MCLS, I will sanction and host a fun fly at my field on Sunday, September 13.
Easy to get to - less than two miles from I-95, South Carolina exit 115.
Just come and fly - we'll have as many circles as required, all grass with asphalt take-off if needed.
Safety thong and pull test, no muffler required.

Drive in or fly in. I will provide exact directions and airport info in the very near future. My house is on an airport so you can tie down in my front yard. We have a picnic pavilion so we can have a cookout later.

If you go to Mapquest and locate exit 115 in Manning, SC, my place is 1.8 miles northeast on highway 301, just past Fellowship Dr.
Airport identifier is SC41, on the Charlotte sectional. Turf runway, 3400 feet, excellent condition.

HI Bob!

Well, Dude, I will do my best to get down there!  Will even try to get #1 Son to come along.  Will have his Vector ARF to trim out. ;D  I need to get a handle back in my hand, anyway.  Just have to figure out transportation.  :o

I can get to the SC line in less than an hour from here on I-95, so you're not too far at all.  H^^

OK, it's now official. The AMA sanction has been sent in and we're good to go.   #^ #^

I will post an official flyer soon and if needed, I will e-mail or U.S. mail a copy to anyone wanting one.

Please let me know if you're coming.

Here is a plan view of the site. I live on lot 37 and we can fly across the taxiway on lots 44 & 45.
If needed, also lots 32 throught 35. All grass but we can take off from asphalt.
If you fly in, you can taxi over and tie down in my front yard.
