Chehalis flying
« on: June 10, 2017, 03:40:46 PM »
Since our contest is postponed and the field is clear (so is the weather) I plan on flying tomorrow, 6/11.  Weather right now is partly cloudy, (mostly sunny) 64 deg. and wind at 7mph or less.  It is supposed to be 68 tomorrow and nice.  Anyone in the area come on down.

It was certainly flyable,,
a couple rain drops here and there,,
good day though, I got some good flying and pointers,,
now tomorrow is supposed to be close to 70, 5 to 10, and partly cloudy,, guess what I am doing tomorrow,, maybe in the morning and again on the afternoon
For years the rat race had me going around in circles, Now I do it for fun!

Pete P and I will be at the airport around 10:00 AM.  Hard to tell around here, I just know if I plan my outdoor activities around a weather forecast I would stay home a lot.  Usually it is nicer than what is forecast.

We fought through the driving winds and torrents of rain and put up a few flights.  Actually it was beautiful, about 70 and at times we could have used a little breeze.  We weren't alone.  A gentleman rolled out his Aeronca he had been working on for three years almost to the day.  Restored and very nicely done. It was puttin' away at idle when we left at about 1:00 PM.

We stopped at "Stone Hedge" to see Mary Lou and Howard.  Circle one is ready for excavation.  I should have taken pictures there but didn't think of it.  I suspect at some point Howard will fill everyone in.

I want to come out and play. I CAN'T... March 7th I was attacked in my parking lot by a METH Addict. Without going into details HE WENT TO JAIL on drug charges the same day of the incident. The next day I woke up in extreme pain on my left side. I went to emergency...Two cat scans latter found out the I have a bruised/damaged colon. I got this by throwing him to the ground. Over pulled the side mussels. HOWEVER, even though he was arrested...he was released ONE HOUR LATER.

So I'm sort of home bound. I try to go out to fly and have had some fun. I'm really down and out. I'm not even working in the shop making parts for you guy's. PAIN SUCKS.....infection is the issue. This is not healing the way I want it too. So Sorry to vent....I need to.
Thanks Stunt Hanger and ALL of you great people.
