Fuel tubing?
« on: April 09, 2008, 02:51:16 PM »
Has anybody found a quality replacement for the Prather "pink" fuel tubing?  Is there something out there as good or better?  Always had good success with the Prather product...

Hey Bill......
I think that a shop that specializes in gas r/c cars has some that comes in four "hot" colors (not all on the same roll)...neon green, neon pink, bright orange and purple...Buso would approve....
I've been using it for a couple of years (different colors for each function....I bought three one foot lengths.....it doesn't stiffen either...the shop where I bought it closed, but I think I saw some in another place the other day....

Bill - Brodak has taken on a new supplier for silicone fuel tubing.

The samples I've tested seem to be identical in performance to the pink tubing.

Call John for more details.

I'll second what Bob Z said. Brodaks is like Prathers. I have been disappointed with the neon stuff. I found that it looks good but splits easily.
