Fuel tanks needed
« on: February 28, 2025, 02:57:01 AM »
I am looking for some fuel tanks. Need rectangular 1oz tanks, 4 of them, and I think Perfect made one that fits the description.
I can make them, but if I can find 4 of the same thing already made, it would make things easier even if I have to modify the plumbing a little.

Anyone have a 1oz rectangular tank? Or several?

Do they need to be a stunt tank? The Perfect rectangular tanks were not stunt tanks. I have a bunch of rectangle tanks but need to see if I have thatsize and that many of them. I'll get back asap.

OK, as far as I can tell from the Perfect Tank Display that I have, a #6 is 3/4 ounce. Then they jump up to a #12 which is 2 1/2 ounces. It doesn't look like they made a rectangle tank in a anything from 1 ounce to the 2 1/2 size. I have three of the #6 tanks, one new in box and two used, and I have four of the #12 tanks, all four new but only two in correct boxes. Let me know if these interest you or PM me an email address or cell number I send some pictures to.

A few years ago there was a flurry of similar activity, people desperately searching for 1oz tanks of ANY kind to be used in CL racing.  Whenever some seller popped up with a collection of Perfect brand tanks (estate sale scores) the 1oz units were the first to go.  After awhile the supply seemed to dry up.  I rarely see 1oz tanks for sale anymore.
