One of the things, probably the
main thing, about the entire O.S. LA series is their reliability and consistency in bone stock, out of the box form. In general, these are great engines for most everyone but the hardcore competition flyers. Another bonus, and contrary to some opinions, is that they require practically no break in and are still dead dependable.
IMO, too many people
way overthink some of this stuff. Here's the deal,
it's an LA-.46. Remember that. If it's the S version to start with, the stock remote will be dependable and work perfectly. If it's an R/C version, or for any reason you want to change out the remote, the standard replacement O.S. C/L venturi mount NVA will also do the same for you. No headaches, no fuss, consistent runs, always.
I mean no disrespect here, just keep it simple and get out and
fly.
