Fuel Percentages

For Bryon Fuels, can I take the oil percentages at it's printed values or do I give a discount and if so, how much of a discount do I give?

   I think there labels are accurate but you could call or email them for further information. Just add extra castor to get the 16% stuff up to what you want.  The other option is to do a boil down test and see what remains, but I think ithas been discussed on here before that their labels are accurate,  and at least they do tell you before you waste and engine.

I've used Byrons for quite a long time and believe the labels.  I buy the 20% oil, 50/50 mix and add oil-50/50mix, up to about 23% for modern engines and 29% for old classic engines.  Nitro will be 5, 10 or 15% depending on application.

Guys, I'm willing to believe the label.  However, I think that

we need to know whether or not the measurements are in %

by volume or % by weight.

Doc it does make a difference.  I see sometimes folks trying to run the least amount of oil they think they can get away with-WHY?  OIL GOOD, HEAT- FRICTION BAD.  I've accidentally 'oiled' fuel twice.  Never noticed much difference other than a little heavier smoke trail.  The engines didn't complain.  Oil is cheaper than new engines.....If you are so close to the edge on the oil that you are concerned about weight or volume then you are simply too close to the edge.

I would  do a  boil down test,  I did this on Byron's  fuel years ago and found it very light on oil
Maybe they have changed it,  maybe not
