Title: Fuel Bottle Leakage
Post by: Garf on March 19, 2006, 06:54:41 PM
A while back there was a problem with leaks developing in gallon bottles of fuel from our 2 major suppliers. Was that ever resolved?

I myself only had that problem with one jug of fuel.  Now my new fuel comes in metal cans.   DOC Holliday

This was a big problem! I probably had 6 leaker's per year. I use about 14 gallons a year so that is not good. I went to the local auto bodyshop supply store and purchased 6 one gallon cans. Now there are no problems. The cans cost me less than 10$. So I think it was a good deal.

I think 2 liter Bacardi bottles should be ideal to store fuel. I don't have enough on hand, so how about 2 liter soda bottles? They hold pressure very well.
