Title: Free Plans! Website of interest!
Post by: Avaiojet on November 04, 2013, 11:25:46 AM
I don't generally spend a great deal of time Google-ing because my PC is old and slow.

I made an exception for the Gee Bee R-3 I'm designing and building, because I really have interest in this design. In fact, my efforts with the model and the drawing of plans date back to RCU some years. Quite a few in fact.

So Google-ing, low and behold, I stumbled onto a website that has many CL plans, including a great set for the CL semi-scale stunt model of the Gee Bee R-3!

Sure, the Gee Bee R-3 is probably old hat, after all, it has been around for quite a while, but for those that don't know the design, it could be of interest? So could this website.

This particular CL Gee Bee R-3 was designed by Beto Glaser, a Brazillian modeler. He made his rendition from the original Gee Bee R-3 design of Marco Pecorari.

I thought I would pass this website on. I'm sure some of you may already know of it. A great place to download plans of many CL models.

Yep, I like "HPA" too.
I'm a regular visitor, and sometimes cross post plans that I find elsewhere, just to help keep plans on multiple sites for more secure preservation.
HPA requires logging in for uploading and downloading.

Outerzone is another site with lots of plans, and it does not require logging in.
... and then there's a few plans threads in the Special Interest section of rcgroups.

Another design from Beto Glaser that I like very much is his version from the Miss BJ, in case a full fuse Miss BJ called Miss Bj Pro.
The plans can be downloaded at HPA at the link below
