Randy as I remember I did , I flew carrier in the 50's in WAM  there was a Pic. in one issue that some one had, just have to get copy of it.man that seams like a long time...

This would be an interesting electric. (I thought the "real" plane had a jet in the back).

You could do it with propped motor in the front, and a electric ducted fan for the rear.
