Fox Stunt 60
« on: January 28, 2007, 08:52:17 AM »
I see Virginia hobby sports is carrying the Fox Stunt 60 for $226. Does anyone have  experience with this motor yet? Looking for a motor for my ARC Strega with out having to break the bank. Thinking of perhaps using a Magnum 62 four stroke I have as well but not sure it would have the power.

Comments?

Lew Woolard (The Silver Foxx) has been running one for several months now and thinks highly of it.  His computer is down so you will either have to call him or write him.

Leester,
I don't think that one at Sam's is the elusive Fox Stunt 60, rather it is a Fox Eagle. the Fox Stunt 60 has been heard in the wild, but I have never really seen one in captivity.

Also I looked at Virginia Hobby Sport Page. That one too is listed as a Fox Stunt Eagle. Is this really the same thing as the lightweight engine that we have been hearing about for the last year or more from Fox??

Might have to call Fox to verify the 60020 is the Stunt 60. When I talked to the lady at Fox last year I was told the Stunt 60 would retail for three hundred. Thought the Viriginia hobby shop price might be decent providing  I had some positive feed back on the engine. Still unsure of the muffler lugs though. They look a lot like The Stunt 352 which snap off very easily

I have a Fox .60 Stunt  and it does retail for $300.00+  The $200 motor is not the New Fox .60 Stunt.

Out of curiosity, where in the world is the Fox Stunt 60 actually sold? I haven't seen it--even on the Fox Web Site (haven't looked in last month or so tho').
Or are we just having our chains pulled??  ;D

Received a reply from Fox.  "We are still in the process of making them"  Stunt 60.  Must be prototypes that a couple people have
