Glow engine bolt patterns
« on: June 13, 2017, 07:11:15 AM »
Does anyone know if there has ever been a list compiled of which glow engines have the same bolt patterns?  That would be a good reference when swapping out engines.

Hi Mike...."snout" length should also be included....several engines have the same bolt pattern, but different snout lengths that preclude them being direct "swaps"....
Have fun!

Not that I've ever seen, but it would be a great thing to have.  Go to it Mike!

Didn't one of the guys from Tulsa have a web site set up and was collecting this data?  Was it Bob Reves?

Wonder if the data is still out there.  Also I have a template of CAD drawings that have motor mount templates of many motors.

Here's my list, compiled from information my Dad and I have been collecting for a few years. It's not complete, but it's good.
If there's some website in the sky where these are compiled, I hope this will help.
If you see something that looks waaaaay wrong, it's 'cause I didn't do a complete scrub before posting.   H^^

Looks like a pretty good start Keith.  If I can find time I'll add some to it.

I have all the PA's and RO Jetts and some of the older Veco and Johnson's etc.

Thanks Randy Cuberly
