Fellow's that are flying this set up, what kind of fuel are you using, and what sort of fuel milage are you getting?
I have a couple set up with this P/L and hemi head as well as the stuffer B/P, and lower nitro (5%) get's good economy, however 10%, and it goes out the window.
It has good power, and breaks like a Fox, but the economy is shot!!
Got any suggestions???

Get a bigger tank? Generally, if you increase the power, you increase the fuel consumption.

You say that, but you would be amazed at how often people are surprised when it turns out that model airplanes appear to be following the established laws of science instead of being magical.

Even if their users don't use words to describe them the same way that the scientists do.

Oh, I long since trying to fix the use of the word "power" as applied to stunt. Same with "torque". I stopped using quotes around it, too.
The fuel consumption VS power thing is also greatly complicated by the fact that we are, frequently, tossing about half the fuel overboard without releasing its energy. So you lean it out, get 3 times the mileage, and more "power" at the same time.

But the Porsche 918 Spyder (hybrid) seems to defy logic.
Zero to 60 in 3.1 seconds and top end of 199mph. Claims it gets 77mpg. Of course, with a price tag of $875k you can probably change the laws of physics?
