To be fair to this excellent little engine, there is a reason it is called the "FAI 049" and not the "Docile Stunt 049." I have nothing but good to say about my three examples, which have been performing well for 15 years since I got them from the assemblers at Muncie in 1998. It is made to go screaming into the sky on the nose of a free flight, and it does that very well for what it is. More reliable than the TeeDee in my experience.
