Title: Four generations of *Little* men
Post by: Bill Little on October 10, 2007, 07:11:49 PM
A couple weeks ago, My dad was in for a visit.  There were four generations of "Little" males present, all with the same first name! LL~

My Dad, myself, my two sons, and my oldest's son.  The last time this happened in our family was almost 30 years ago to the day when my oldest was the same age as my Grandson, and my Granddad was still around.  Odd thing is, all of us (except the grandson) were at least All-State football players, and two of us got to play Div I college ball.. :D

My Dad, W.T. Little, JR. spent his 30 years in Naval Air.  CWO-4 and spent a couple tours at NATS Millington as an Advanced Electronics/Avionics Instructor, as well as a couple tours in the Gulf of Tonkin "Yacht Club".  He was also the crew chief of the first plane assigned to the USS Saratoga, and has a plank there.

So the Little Men don't look to Little.  LL~

And the tours at NATS Millington, would that happen to be close to Memphis, Tn?

Yes, Paul.  I know several of the board members went to school there, and I thought maybe someone would have caught that.

Dad's last duty assignment was at NAS Pensecola, where he retired and lives in Milton.  He was M/M Officer for a squadron of E-2Q Hawkeyes.
