There is a new weight box available. what is the big deal with it, simple, it's a brand new idea and an improvement over what is available at the present time.
If you have had a problem trying to get enough outboard weight into you models current box or it is annoyingly tight to get that 1/4 piece of lead in then this might be just the thing you need.
A conversation with a few friends who fly the larger competition models said that it would be nice to have a box which would let them get the right amount into the wingtip without having to do surgery after the initial trim to add more weight or the ability to trim for various wind conditions with less trouble.
A conversation with Pat King followed and he graciously did the design and cut files for this new offering.
Ok so what is it anyhow.?
It is a box made to accommodate the 1/2 ounce pieces of lead that are available. You can get over 2 ounces of lead into it and it should satisfy every circumstance that you would run into.
It is only slightly more expensive than the normal weight box at $5.00 plus shipping.
