Been chasing props trying to find the right one for my Brodak 40/Challenger-40 combo. Been switching back and forth between an APC 11X4 and 11.5X4. The 11.5X4 gave the best pull; however, it would overload the B40 sometimes. So, I took an APC 12X4 Sport Prop (the toothpick looking one) and cut it down to an 11.5X4. The narrow cross section of the tips provide less load than the standard 11.5X4 but with the same advantage of diameter thrust. Gives me the same or more pull than the standard 11.5X4 but without overloading the B40. If you like the standard 11.5X4 try cutting down the 12X4 Sport Prop, you just might like it better.
