I think this was on Stuka Stunt at one time.
Still some good info from back in the day.

He knew what he was talking about. Was great to meet him at VSC one year. D>K

I always enjoyed reading anything Larry wrote. I incorporated a lot of his ideas into my models and did kit the MoBest several years ago when Eric Rule still owned RSM.

It might sound odd, but that article was the catalyst for me getting involved in control line stunt.
Way back when that was published, I was looking for ways to make lighter, stronger RC pattern aircraft, and I implimented a lot of the design philosophy into my pattern plane of the time. I then began to delve a little deeper into stunt found wonderfully beatiful aircraft. After that, the rest was history. I rarely fly RC now, and consider most of the aerobatic aircraft around today as ugly, inflatable blimps!

It's an interesting insight that you have there. I find that all R/C pattern models in the upper levels of competition today all look alike, and now C/L stunt is starting to look that way also!! The recent world champs is an example. It rather resemble "Shark Week!" It was very refreshing to see Todd Lee's P-51 in the front row and in the Top 5!!!
Type at you later,

Can you provide a link to Larry’s articles?
Thanks

I checked the pampa site and found nothing. There isn't any links on the copies I have either.
