A large model airplane builder here in Brazil tried to register with the Forum, but was rejected. What's happening?
Thanks for the information.

My guess is that he didn't follow the forum sign-up rules.

If it is something else, he should send an e-mail to Robert (aka Sparky).

Hello Elizio,
I dont recall seeing anyone from Brazil trying to join, but have been busy with real life issues that dont involve this site, so someone else must have done the rejection. Please make sure your friend is using his real first and and real last name on his application. Not initials, but real whole names are the basic requirments. We'll try again for him. Sorry for any confusion.

Hi Elizio,

A separate first and last name (real names!) MUST be used to sign up.  That has been the rule forever.  As the first moderator Robert set up, I have rejected many applications due to a refusal to follow the rules.  Have the person email me, and I will get it set up.  If I find a membership application that does not follow this, it is automatically rejected.

Remember, the account name does not have to be the user's board name.
