??? gotta question
« on: November 06, 2012, 09:25:34 AM »

Some time back I bought a 360degree protractor from a place called helix.
When I google that name it doesn't work.
Can someone advise me as to what I'm doing wrong, and how to contact them again?
      Thanks a lot...

This reminds me of my first year drafting set I had to get my Freshman year at Washington Rural High School at Bethel KS.   Still have the set  and use it once in a while.

I still have a circular plastic gadget with numbers all over it, and it has a curved(!) cursor  It is called "Spirule".  It is for finding the electronic filter poles and zeros in the complex frequency plane (the "S" plane).

I've forgotten completely how to use it.

(I've also forgotten how to use a "Smith Chart".
