Seem's that I read about a mixture/formula that is good to clean the inside of a newly built metal fuel tank.
Don't remember exactly what it was.
Can someone refresh my memory?? :!
Thanks, Gil

It'll depend on what flux you use for soldering. I use a hobby flux in a greasy base, so I wash the tank out with HOT soapy water to get the flux, then with isopropyl alcohol to get the last of the rinse water.
If I'd get off my behind and get some nice water-based flux, I could just wash out with clean water, hit it with isopropyl, and be done.

Thank ya' Tim, I mixed some 70% isopropel and acetone 50/50 and it cleaned it pretty well.
Again thanks for the reply... y1
