Nice plane and color scheme. Out of curiosity, where do you get the wheels?
-
NOS I Think I have had them for around 25 years

Thought that might be the case. I have something similar on the blue Enterprise and can't find them anymore of them.

Matt....I have used these wheels that look like Sparky's.
I used a bunch of them on pattern planes for years.
CNC machined hub with replaceable tires.
They are very high quality.

Those are MAXX wheels and they haven't been made in several years. Put them on Ebay and buy yourself a private island. Nice work Robert!

Beautiful plane Sparky
I have recently been watching YouTube in the shop and I caught your start of this project after the Nats. Every day I would catch a little of where you were in the build and finish. Really informative although I admit I didn't stay through the whole video, mainly, just to see where you were in the process on a daily basis.
At some point I said to myself, "he'll probably get this plane done before I get the shop even cleaned up" Sure enough .... you won ...... I admire your ability to jump on a project and get the job done. I guess I have too many little things going I can't get the swamp drained.
Beautiful Job

It looks great. Thanks for taking the time to post the videos of the build. I watched a few of them. I need to go back to the start and see how it's done from the beginning. I am learning how you build with care and precision. I hope to take my building skills to the next level. You are saving me a lot of time trying to figure out this stuff on my own. I appreciate it.

Magnificent work as usual! Great color scheme.
