The body and gear location  looks a lot like the Aron. The wing is better looking than the Aron. Typical of 1959-1960. This is a very different plane than the Tucker that he is often seen with. The body is very thin in the back and he flows it all together beautifully. I have never seen this model before.

 Like Doc says, the looped tube is just an easy way to keep things plugged, not for flying.

Well that is true in a lot of cases but isn't the only reason I've seen for this config. Maybe Doug Moon will see this and chime in. The other config I refer to loops the uniflow back into a neutral air space inside the fuselage to avoid directional pressure. You just break the loop to fuel up. That's why I was jesting about it, since the config would have been way ahead of its time.

He looks the same!!  I met him in late 90s and see him at the Nats often.  Great guy.  Very soft spoken and knows his stuff and loves CL!  His has the same slicked back look!  I wish I could say the same for mine...

That tubing is very similar to how I run mine.  But I think he was doing that there.  He would need a pressure line from the non existent muffler to the tank. Then the vent and pressure line from the tank exit the side of the model.  You fill on the pressure line and the vent overflows. Then hook the two together and you have a closed system.  Works great. Been running it for years.
