Post by: Wynn Robins on August 22, 2007, 10:29:11 PM
Steve,

 Hi Wynn,
That looks really good, you must have read that IMPACT article a couple of times I bet.

Do you know how much extra weight you added by incorporating the take apart features?

Cheers, Rob.

Rob - I have not read the Impact article - I have seen  a few different plans tho (seeing as I have around 700 of them) so have ideas that I toyed around with.

I added maybe 2-3 oz only in weight - there is not a lot to it - mostly 1/8th light ply - the heaviest bits would be the 4/40 bolts - and that is not a lot!!!!

Wynn:
NICE piece of work   CLP**

Must have been especially challenging adapting take-apart features to the ARC rather than purpose built from the start.
