So, if you notice the lever on the back seat of your van appears to be bent, and if you notice the seat folds when you lean on it....fix it right then.
Or else a week later as you arrive at the "big contest" you might lean on the seat you neglected to repair and for sure it will release onto the wing of your latest, greatest airplane. Overnight fix time!
Lesson learned- I hope!

In my old Crysler wagon I had a brick to keep the drivers seat upright.   It broke one night as I was leaving to go to work.   Would not fold forward for some reason but the brick kept it from falling back.   Drove that way for many years.  In fact the day I traded it in I moved the seat back to get under it.   It would not move forward but the dealer said don't worry about it.
