Those were invented by Victor Stanzel. I had one in the early 60s, and got a new one about 4 years ago. Not too good in the corners!!

I have the Stanzel Lil Rascal bi-plane and the Electro Jet ducted fan model new in box. They never flew well when I was a kid.....

They are great for getting people over the dizzies.  The grand kids wore mine out bouncing it off the driveway.  DOC Holliday

being the young son of a combat flyer I was always trying to find an opponent. Did have a friend with one , I think that time they lasted about 2 flights( just like real c/l combat).
