We are very lucky to have several excellent sources for component structures, wings etc.

In addition to the fine work done by Crist, we also have the guy who perfected foam wings for the modeling world: Bob Hunt. Bob has been making excellent foam wings for so long I think he made one for my grandfather, and I'm retired!  n~ .... His wings are perfect for our needs, and they come with his helium impregnated foam and balsa. They are really light!

Bob's "How to" videos are also very helpful. I have learned a great deal from them.

You can go here on this forum for more info:  Vendors Corner > Robin's View Productions

You won't go wrong with either of those.  Other good sources are Bob Mellen ( http://www.flyingfoam.com/ ), and Phil Cartier (the Corehouse).

I have to echo the Crist or Bob Hunt wings.  I always use Crist because he and I flew against each other so much until he moved up to expert.  We kept trading places and stayed mostly within five points!  He and Bob are both fine friends and all-round good guys.

All of the mentioned core cutters are just great.  After having purchased hundreds and hundreds of cores (perhaps 1000) I reccomend Jeff McClain of Moses Lake,WA.  He has never failed to get me exactly what I want, at a very good price and speedy delivery. In the past he has been the lead cutter for all plane articles  for RCM.  His e-mail address is  <mwcores2@hotmail.com.>  Check him out.
